My Brother HL-1440 is printing a mirrored image of the text, and I can't figure out why....

very light printing

How do I know if I need a new drum. The printer seems to work fine, but the printing is just very very light and can barely be read....

Streaks and fades when printing

I already brought a new toner, and ordered a new drum, but I can't remember how to take it apart to clean the windows on it....

hl-1440 printer stopped printing

hl-1440 printer no longer prints. items sit in queue and nothing happens. the red alarm light is on. for a while i was able to get it to work by pressing the start button when it stalled. but now it just sits there. i press the start button, the lights go green (alarm light goes off), and it makes its warm up sound then stops and goes back to the data light (orange) and alarm (red) illuminated....
